The National Fencing calendar is broadly divided into two sections: six months for National competitions (including member units competitions) and six months for development. During the six months marked for development at the member unit level, the National teams will be focused on high-performance training camps and participation in the Asian Championships, World Championships, Commonwealth Championships, Asian Games, Olympic Games, etc. When the Asian Games is held in the Middle East, there will be a change in the schedule of senior NC.


X Window for the State/ UT Fencing Championships and there will be no National Championships during this period.


X Window for the National Championships and there will be no State/ UT competitions during the period.


IC The peak phase for the FAI Office and the National Teams participating in international competitions. No window for National competitions during the period


DP There will be an FAI review of development in January and focus on developmental activities from January to June.


CR April and May will be the window to apply for/ transfer of/ renew centralised registration. Cards will be issued in June. There will be no official competitions in India during this period.
